WordPress 4.2.4 Security Release – Update Now!

This morning (August 4th, 2015) WordPress released a very important security update that addressed six major security vulnerabilities.  The release noted three cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, a potential SQL injection issue, a potential timing side-channel attack, and a fix that prevents an attacker from potentially locking a post from being edited.

This release was automatically pushed to all versions of WordPress that allowed automatic updating.  Furthermore, if you are a WP Cover client, your site was updated by our team this morning.

WordPress and WP Cover highly recommend that you ensure your WordPress install has been updated to prevent potential vulnerabilities.
